David Bernardo Dacanay III, age 12, is a young pianist from Voorhees, New Jersey. He began studying piano at age eight and has developed a growing passion for both classical and contemporary music.

David has served as an accompanist for school chorus performances, plays piano with his school jazz band, and accompanies music at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Gibbsboro, New Jersey. In 2025, he was a finalist in the Voorhees Got Talent competition and has also shared his music through volunteer piano performances at local nursing homes.

Since June 2026, David has been studying classical piano with Elina Galletta and has performed in a recital at Rowan University alongside other classical piano students. He continues to expand his repertoire through works by composers including Chopin and Haydn while developing his technique, musical expression, and confidence as a young pianist.
