From Bach to Buenos Aires takes us on a journey across centuries and cultures, bringing together the introspection of Bach, the Romantic imagination of Mertz and Schumann, and the lyrical, distinctly Argentine voice of Carlos Guastavino. Through the beautiful playing by Baltimore-based guitarist Benjamin Gascon and pianist Dr. Teodora Adzharova, two accomplished and dynamic musicians from the local classical music scene, the evening explores how music travels, transforms, and speaks in different accents - yet remains a universal language.
