Finale: Soirée Musicale – Voice & Piano
Join us for a special season finale with renowned tenor Norman Shankle and pianist Ramilya Saubanova.
American tenor Norman Shankle is currently enjoying worldwide acclaim for his portrayals of Mozart and Rossini’s most famous tenors. The Boston Globe called Shankle “a real find, a singer of elegance, grace and conviction,” and the San Francisco Chronicle praised him equally as “clearly a singer to watch.” In collaboration with Ramilya, our president, they will bring together French, English, and American art songs in an intimate setting, where music, poetry, and conversation naturally intertwine.
The evening will also feature special guest artist Jacques-Pierre Malan, acclaimed cellist and Union Square resident, who will join the program for selected works.
Come close out the season with us in a warm, welcoming atmosphere – an evening to listen, reflect, and share music!
After the performance, please join us for a Meet-the-Artist reception with hors d'oeuvres & wine. BYOB is encouraged!💃🏼
