Franz Spooner is named after the great Hungarian pianist and composer Franz Liszt, is 12 years old and has been studying piano for five years with Jung Spooner. He is a two-time winner of the WSMTA Spring Festival in 2022 and 2023, and received a 1+ rating at the 2019 Kansas City Fall Auditions. Outside of music, Franz enjoys swimming, playing basketball, and spending time with friends. His favorite school subjects are math and English. He also loves playing video games and creating content for his YouTube channel.
