Josie Cardinal is a 16-year-old pianist and composer currently residing in Loudoun County, Virginia. Having been classically trained since the age of five, Josie has felt a passion for the arts since a very young age.
Recently, Josie attended the Mason Jazz summer camp under a grant awarded by the Loudoun Jazz Society and was featured as a guest performer as part of the Barns of Rose Hill 2025 winter season.
She also had her debut performance just last month at the Blues Alley supper club with the Blues Alley Youth Orchestra and the Duke Ellington School of the Arts vocal jazz group “The Mellow Tones”.
Continuing her budding music career, Josie plans to further her studies in college and looks ahead to what exciting opportunities the future may bring. For now, though, you may spot her performing locally in big bands, jazz ensembles, solo gigs, and even accompanying other talented musicians in the DMV.
