Sasha Russey and Jonah Kadlec have been creating music together since the dawn of 2022, when they connected through a shared fondness for the jazz genre. Sasha is a classically trained pianist of 12 years, whilst Jonah is embarking on his 7th year performing on the clarinet (also attaining fluency in tenor saxophone). Initially, the duo gained performance experience through school music events and volunteering to play at Brightview Senior Living Center. Along the way, they formed the Planet Caravan Jazz Quartet with two other school musicians, venturing into gigs of various natures. In recent years, Sasha has been self-learning the craft of composition and is looking to pursue the art of scoring for visual media in college. Jonah, on the other hand, wishes to continue his passion for jazz in college alongside a public health minor on the pre-med track.
